HackXtreme: 2,200 registrations and a finale at GeeksforGeeks HQ

14 Apr 2026 · Team Singularity · recap · hackxtreme

HackXtreme was designed around one idea: give builders enough time to make something real, then make them defend it in person.

The shape of it

  • Profile submission. Your best idea, your GitHub, your track record. 200+ teams cleared screening out of 2,200+ registrations.
  • The hacking period. Five days against real problem statements. Wildcard entries stayed open for teams that missed round one, because gatekeeping late talent is a bad trade.
  • Grand finale. Top 25 teams at the GeeksforGeeks office in Noida, presenting live to judges Kamal Kashyap and Lakshay Gupta.

Results

Alpha Coders, led by Aayushi Gupta, won it. BEETROOT and NOVA completed the podium. The Social Media Stars track paid out ₹9,000 to the best demo-video creators, which turned the event into a week of builders publicly documenting their work. That content reached tens of thousands of people. Sponsors noticed.

Thanks to RunAnywhere and GeeksforGeeks for making it real.
